Hi, we’re Will and Claire

We are local parents wanting to help families while reducing consumption. We run the library voluntarily as a Community Interest Company, which is Not For Profit.

The clothing we supply comes from donations from local families, whose children have outgrown perfectly wearable clothing. We cover costs through donations from families using our library, and through fundraising. We really appreciate the donations we receive.

What’s a Baby clothes library?

We lend boxes of baby clothes from newborn to 24 months – so families can borrow instead of buy.

Good for families, good for the planet, good for community.

What’s in a box?

Think vests, sleepsuits, tops, trousers, dresses, dungarees, coats, socks, hats — the baby clothing essentials, all bundled up for you.

Every box is different, but we always do our best with the lovely donated clothes we receive.

What does it cost?

Tiny clothes, not tiny costs.

The library is free to use with a refundable £20 deposit. If you can, a £5 donation per box helps us keep the clothes clean, packed, and ready for the next family.

How do I hire?

Tell us what size you need and we’ll match you with an available box.

There’s no fixed hire period — just swap for the next size whenever your child is ready.
